taste not waste

on monday 25th, thursday 28th feb and saturday 2nd march 2019 we're taking part in Cambridge Sustainable Food's #TasteNotWaste campaign at SmokeWorks Station Road. we've weighed our food waste and discovered that 64% of it is from customer plates. the main culprits are fries, slaw and pickes. so, if you eat with us on any of these days we'll be asking you if you'd prefer a half portion of fries, and whether you care for slaw and pickles. we'll be weighing the results to inform future changes to our menu. we'll also be inviting you to give us feedback on portion sizes and all feedback forms will be entered into a £50 voucher prize draw!
